The ‘Love Your Career’ virtual careers fair took place on 3 March. This innovative event was made possible by European Social Funds through the Mayor of London’s Office as part of a three year Hounslow Careers Cluster Project. It is one of many activities that will better equip young people for the world of work and ensure that careers education promotes local career opportunities.
The Love Your Career virtual platform hosted 199 employers, 23 local schools/colleges and 129 exhibitors on the day with over 3000 students and parents logging onto the specially developed website. Apart from a wide range of pre-recorded and down-loadable content, participants were able to attend live talks and ask questions through live chat.
