Invest in London – Town centres give a sense of local identity to an area. They provide a range of services and activities. Within the borough, there are a network of town centres and local shopping centres that serve different functions in the local economy.

Hounslow has four lively town centres:

The largest town Centre in the borough, Hounslow is a busy Metropolitan centre, serving the widest catchment, extending into other parts of west London.

Chiswick is the Borough’s second largest town centre, primarily serving the east of the Borough. Chiswick is an affluent upmarket suburb with niche shops/ boutiques on Chiswick High Road which is successful and provides primarily for convenience shopping.

Brentford & Isleworth

Brentford and Isleworth, sitting on the north bank of the Thames, opposite Kew Gardens boasts its own swathe of greenery in the form of parks and great estates.

Feltham was famous as a prominent market garden until well into the 20th century. Whilst agriculture has diminished, trade continues to flourish at the town’s shopping centre (The Centre), leisure complex (Leisure West) and the High Street’s range of national multiple retailers and fashion stores.
