Creating a new vision for Hounslow Town Centre

Hounslow has a vision to transform Hounslow Town Centre into one of west London’s most vibrant, exciting, shopping and leisure destinations. With new development and High Street regeneration across two distinct projects.

Hounslow Council appointed development partners Barratt London and Wilson Bowden to deliver the vision of transforming Hounslow Town Centre into one of west London’s most vibrant, exciting, shopping and leisure destinations. The partners will take forward a £100m leisure led mixed-use town centre development in Hounslow town centre. Known as High Street Quarter, this project will provide 400 new units, including a multi-plex cinema, retail, restaurants, public space and underground parking.

High Street Regeneration

In 2011, Hounslow was awarded £500,000 in Round 1 of the Outer London Fund for a programme of shop front improvements, events, and street markets in Hounslow. In 2012, Hounslow received the largest combined award in Round 2 for Hounslow High Street and Brentford, worth £3 million, matched by £750,000 from the Local Authority, Hounslow Council.  The investment has kick-started the regeneration of Hounslow and Brentford Town Centres.  With £100,000 of support from within the Mayor’s Outer London Fund, Hounslow improved traders’ shop fronts in Hounslow and Brentford.
