Hounslow’s regeneration continues with the official unveiling of one of London’s newest outdoor arts space.
Bell Square, at the end of Hounslow High Street, will be host to a series of arts’ events starting on 20 June with the renowned French theatre company, Bilbobasso performing Polar, a sixty minute dance, music and pyrotechnic show exploring the romance of Argentine Tango.
The performance, which is open to the public, ran over two nights on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 June from 9.30pm.
Hounslow Council leader, Councillor Steve Curran, said: “The opening of Bell Square is just the start of an exciting new era of opportunity in Hounslow.
“Along with the renewal of Hounslow High Street, we have some fantastic new developments coming on line over the next few years including Brentford Football Club, Hounslow’s High Street Quarter and a new vision to rejuvenate the Golden Mile.”
The forthcoming programmes for Bell Square will feature an award winning World War II dance show by Moxie Brawl; an ariel performance by Dream Engine; the hugely popular Big Dance Bus, and Gigs, the Mayor of London’s showcase for buskers from all over London.
