"Shaken not stirred" brought to you by Carter Jonas

Location: Hounslow stand, London Pavilion

Meet the Hounslow @ MIPIM delegation and partners for a martini reception themed around the Golden Mile and the golden opportunities throughout the borough including housing and commercial/office development and investment.

Major media brands, such as Sky, QVC and the Discovery Channel are powering the borough’s development. These businesses are clustered around the ‘Golden Mile’. Recent road and rail improvements, plus the growth of local business parks and support services, has extended this dynamic working environment through to nearby Brentford and Hounslow Town Centres.

The borough is also doing its bit to tackle London’s housing shortage, with over 12,300 new homes in the pipeline in the next 15 years. Within this target, the council and its local development and housing association partners are on course to develop 3,000 affordable homes within the next four years, including 400 built directly by the council.

Key partner, Carter Jonas will be launching its latest research around the area of Private Rented Sector activity in London and how the schemes fit within the wider economic context of the Capital.

Come and meet the team to find out more about these golden opportunities.

This vision and concept masterplan for Feltham will ultimately form a planning policy document for the west area of Hounslow, to be known as the west of the borough plan. This will include a strategy for improving Feltham town centre, identification of wider transport improvements for the west of the area, new site allocations and employment strategy, whilst also developing the Heathrow opportunity area. There will be a public consultation on the first stage of the west of the borough plan in summer 2015.

This breakfast meeting gives guests the chance to share their views and find out more about the residential and hotel opportunities.
