Heritage Tour – from the Boatyards in Brentford to the Golden Mile
A walk through Brentford touring the active boatyards; an important part of London’s commercial boating history where the river Brent meets the Thames. We will also explore the fantastic new market square and canal path connecting Brentford to the Golden Mile, home to some stunning art-deco industrial buildings such as the former Gillette factory. We will be finishing around the lock where a Floating Cinema is hosting open air screenings, artist talks and music.
