A world leading manufacturer of industrial sieves and filters based in Feltham, was visited by Cllr Sue Sampson as part of a fact finding mission to successful local businesses.
Cllr Sampson, cabinet member for communities and economic development, along with Sally Smith, Chief Operating Officer of Hounslow Chamber of Commerce, visited Russell Finex, who won best Small and Medium Size Enterprise category in last year’s Hounslow Business Awards.
Cllr Sampson said: “Much of the future prosperity of the UK will be driven by how successful the country is at exporting high quality manufactured goods, and it’s companies like Russell Finex who are helping Hounslow lead the way.”
Martin Chipperfield, Sales and Marketing Director: “Entering our 80th year in business, we have continued to invest heavily in research and development to provide customers with high quality, market leading manufacturing equipment. To meet the increase in demand from our ever growing global customer base we have also invested significantly in our UK manufacturing facilities to ensure we can meet the needs of our customers no matter where they are.”
Sally Smith said: “We are so pleased that Hounslow Council is supporting the 2014 Hounslow Business Awards.
“Manufacturing is alive and well in the borough with Russell Finex a prime example. All the businesses across the borough have a great deal to celebrate and the 2014 Hounslow Business Awards will be their Oscar moment.”
