Feltham eye specialist Mohamed Kasmani urges any budding entrepreneurs to make sure they care about their customers.
Mohamed, who owns Feltham Eye Centre in Wilton Parade, High Street, was speaking in the run up to Small Business Saturday this weekend.
He said: “Anyone thinking about going into business should remember to be, above all, honest with your customers, care for them and care for your staff.
“Remember you are there to serve your customer and if you do it properly, honestly, diligently and offer a personal service then success will come your way.
“My clients. They love the personal caring service that my staff and I provide and we love serving them with the aim to exceed their expectations.”
Mohamed, who has been running the eye centre for the last 13 years, said Feltham was an easy choice for him to base his business.
“I live in west London and close to Heathrow and at the time my friend’s father was selling the practice, said Mohamed. “Looking at the practice I saw that it had a lot of potential and that we could provide a service with the latest equipment and products which were not offered in the Feltham area.
“I have innovated like a small ship, being able to customise my service to each client personally.”
Mohamed said Small Business Saturday is a great help to traders like him. He said: “It is an opportunity to put small businesses on the map and show that we are a major part of the community. Without small businesses there would be no personality when it comes to providing services and custom.”
