Hounslow Council has released details of the Area Forum Street Improvement Fund, which ‘provides a possible source of funding for area forums to support proposals to change the street environment in response to resident suggestions.’ Applications for funding must come through a ward Councillor representing Town Teams in the Borough, with a deadline of 29/02/16. In addition to the Street Improvement Fund, there is another funding opportunity available through Area Forum Small Grants. The grant (to Build stronger neighbourhoods, Encourage more residents to get involved in their local area and Support the development of new VCSE / residents groups) is for a maximum of £500 and deadline is 08/02/16.
