Hounslow Council is supporting local businesses and the community at the EatChiswick Festival which runs until Wednesday 8 June.
The festival proved to be a huge success last year and is once again to host an array of food at various street markets with tasting events and stalls, including kids’ cake decorating and a tasting masterclass. There will also be wine tasting, craft beer and cooking demonstrations.
Over 80 local businesses will be taking part to showcase their wares what they are all about and there will be talks, walks and tours of the area.
Hounslow Council is sponsoring the Business to Business Social at the event, which takes place on the last day of the event, Wednesday 8 June, which is aimed at the food and hospitality business, where advice can be sought in that field on retaining your customers, social media and blogging.
Councillor Steve Curran, Leader of Hounslow Council, said: “It’s important we can support our local businesses and events like these can encourage the growth of those businesses in our borough.
“We were proud to sponsor the event last year which was a great success. We urge people to go along and see what their local area and businesses can offer.”
Visitors can purchase £10 wristbands for special offers during the festival. More details can be found by visiting http://eatchiswick.com/
