Chiswick

Chiswick sits east of the borough and is an affluent upmarket suburb with niche shops/ boutiques on Chiswick High Road which is successful and provides primarily for convenience shopping. There is also a wide provision of restaurants and bars creating a vibrant night time atmosphere.

The main focus for business is to the west of the town centre around Chiswick Park which is home to major TV and media companies such as Discovery, The Walt Disney Company, QVC and The Pokemon Company International. Chiswick is fast becoming a growing cluster for media and tech companies.

In terms of attractions, Chiswick accommodates a stretch of the River, elegant buildings and sites that draw visitors across the town.  Chiswick is home to Chiswick House which is fairly modest yet bold in concept and is Britain’s first Palladium villa built in the 1970’s by Lord Burlington. At Hogarth Roundabout is Hogarth’s House which was built around 1700 and was the country home of the great painter, engraver and satirist William Hogarth.
